Computer-Aided Design

Multiology provides many services in the area of Computer-Aided Design (CAD). We have worked extensively with the Pro/Engineer CAD software and have applied our expertise to the creation of many Pro/Engineer parts and assemblies.

However, this experience goes beyond standard model development. Complex software tools have been integrated with Pro/Engineer through the use of Pro/Toolkit. Custom geometry-driven applications have been successfully unified in a seamless environment with Pro/Engineer, thus allowing an engineer to input geometry design information in the CAD environment one time and then automatically propagating that information to the other tools in the toolset. The benefits of this approach are an enhanced user interface, automated data extraction, automated geometry modification and assembly, and automated data flow.

Our tool integration experience has consisted of the development of several thousand lines of C code within Pro/Toolkit, thousands of lines of code within Pro/Program, and dozens of parts and assemblies.
